The winner takes it all tonight at Elland Road as Leeds United and Norwich City fight for a play-off final spot at Wembley. 

A stalemate at Carrow Road on Sunday has teed up a straight shootout for a chance to win promotion to the Premier League against either Southampton or West Brom, who face off at St Mary's on Friday.

Norwich raced out of the blocks but were unable to cash in on a fast start, with Leeds establishing control thereafter without converting that into any meaningful chances.

It was a contest lacking incident or opportunities for either side as both teams settled for a goalless draw to take the tie back to Elland Road on level terms. 

City are hoping for positive injury news on striking duo Josh Sargent, who limped out of Sunday's goalless draw, and Ashley Barnes (calf) ahead of this contest. There also may be some consideration needed as to the role that winger Jonny Rowe can play after starting his first game since January. 

With David Wagner and Daniel Farke electing against hosting pre-match press conference in fear of squandering information for their opponents, little is known about exact team news. Duo Onel Hernandez and Liam Gibbs are both missing, but are travelling north to offer their support. 

Farke has confirmed that Patrick Bamford will be absent for the second leg after complications with a knee injury whilst defender Pascal Struijk is also sidelined for the remainder of the campaign. 

The Whites have been boosted by the first leg returns of Connor Roberts and Dan James, who were fit enough to feature on the bench for the first leg. 

Norwich are hoping to maintain their perfect record of reaching the final in play-off campaigns they've been involved in - as was the case in 2002 and 2015. Leeds, however, are hoping to reach their first final since 2008 having lost at the semi-final stage of their last two campaigns, with both second legs coming at Elland Road. 

Only Ipswich Town enjoyed a better home record than Leeds over the course of the regular campaign, with Farke's side taking 53 points from 23 matches, although they were beaten by Blackburn and Southampton in their final two matches on their own patch. 

Conversely, Norwich have the sixth worst away record in the Championship over the course of the season, winning just six times on their travels. They will be hoping that Wagner's successful play-off record with Huddersfield in 2017 can help navigate them through to the final.
